System components
3255m2parabolic trough reflector, 2 shell and tube exchangers,1 thermo stabilized oil tank, 1oil tank, 3 electrical heating auxiliary equipment
System Operation Principle
On sunny days, this system collects solar energy using parabolic trough reflector and heats the thermal oil to meet the heat demand for the production process (in winter, it meets the heating demand). Excess heat in the system is stored in the oil tank in the form of high temperature hot oil.
At night or on days when sunlight is scarce, the system will use the reserved heat. If that is insufficient, auxiliary electric heating will be used to compensate and provide the rest of the needed heat.
It is an effective system for all seasons, as it heats water in the heating system to a set temperature, using the shell pipe heat exchanger.
Project Energy Savings:
collected heat quantity of parabolic trough reflector: 14,443,576,284 KJ/year;
standard coal saving amount: 704.05T/year (calorific value of standard coal: 29.260MJ/kgce);
CO2 emissions decreasing amount: 1739.01T/year (CO2 emission factor: 2.47kg/kece)
